Changelog

Private beta · Apple silicon · macOS 14 or later

0.1.9 · October 3, 2026

When you correct Carve after it stops (“Sorry, wrong country, change it to Canada”), every check now holds it to your correction. Before, a resumed task could still be judged against the request you had just changed, and save the old values. Saving a form made of drop-down choices now asks for your approval instead of stopping partway.

0.1.8 · October 3, 2026

Security fixes. Carve now loads only the components inside its own signed app, and a checkbox or switch that would buy something, send a message, grant access, accept terms or delete something always asks you first, whatever the website calls it. Signing out everywhere also ends sign-in from your verified browser. Carve Cloud requests wait for a free slot at busy times instead of failing, long tasks ask about their budget less often, and dropdown menus are more reliable.

0.1.7 · October 1, 2026

An illustrated copilot tutorial, Option-D guidance on Home, smoother window positioning and dragging, and clearer browser sign-in recovery.

0.1.6 · September 30, 2026

Fixed free-beta task startup and computer-use requests. Planning and retries share the question allowance before task execution begins. Connection and access failures now retain actionable explanations instead of a generic retry loop.

0.1.5 · September 30, 2026

Start a practice task with the sample window and request prepared for you. Clearer instructions follow the task from review to watching the edit and checking the result. Choose your own window directly after practice. Updated Electron runtime.

0.1.4 · September 30, 2026

Sign in through your verified browser, with email codes available as a fallback. A simpler welcome, step-by-step Mac permissions, and practice notes help you complete your first task. Clearer trial details and phone-to-Mac setup instructions.

September 30, 2026 · Beta invitations

Personal invitation links now admit one verified email each. Existing testers can verify their email to download updates without a new invitation.

0.1.3 · September 30, 2026

Faster account setup, more reliable trial-credit handling, and clearer messages before welcome setup is complete. Signed and Apple-notarized installer.

0.1.2 · September 30, 2026

Account-based beta access, visible trial allowances, and sign-in before Mac permission setup.

0.1.1 · September 30, 2026

Invite-only downloads and Carve-funded beta access. No credit card or personal API key required.

0.1.0 · Installation candidate

Initial signed and notarized installation candidate.

Beta updates are installed manually. Verify your beta email to download the current version. Paid plans are not open yet.
