AI & computer control

Helpful intelligence. Real-world consequences.

September 14, 2026 · Carvify, Inc.

The short version

Carve can explain what is on screen and take actions in your apps. You choose the task; AI does not make the result certain.

This summary helps you navigate. The full text below governs.

01 / You are working with AI

Carve’s answers, plans, pointers, and completion reports are generated with AI. They can be wrong even when they sound confident. Verify important facts, destinations, calculations, and changes. A second AI check is not a guarantee.

02 / Actions affect your real accounts

Computer control can click, type, navigate, use your clipboard, and edit content through your signed-in apps. It can lead to messages, purchases, uploads, or deletions. Review the task scope and supervision level before starting. Keep backups and remain available. Stopping prevents further work as the stop takes effect; it cannot retract a sent message or reverse every completed action.

03 / Screen content may go to a provider

Hosted AI can receive selected window images, accessibility text, prompts, and relevant task context. Carve Cloud relays requests when selected; a directly configured provider receives requests directly. Provider retention and local task history are separate. Close sensitive content before capturing; automated redaction is not foolproof.

04 / Permission is a choice, not a waiver

Review screen-sharing consent and the provider shown in the app. Adjust or revoke consent in Settings and macOS permissions. An operating-system permission is not authorization for every possible action, and accepting the Terms does not approve a purchase or a message. Review high-impact steps before execution.

05 / Keep people in charge of important decisions

Do not rely on Carve for emergencies, safety-critical control, or professional advice. Obtain qualified advice where appropriate. You remain responsible for lawful access and for reviewing work, while your mandatory legal rights and Carvify’s nonwaivable obligations remain intact.

06 / Pause, inspect, and verify

Use the app’s pause or stop controls and the emergency-stop shortcut shown in Settings if anything looks wrong. Review the actual destination app before treating a task as complete. If an action has already happened, inspect the result and use that app’s recovery tools where available.
