Loophole: Make the AI Say It · Effective July 13, 2026
The short version
Loophole has no accounts. Your game history, streak, stats, and settings are stored on your device only. We run no ads and use no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
What leaves your device
- Your clues. When you submit a clue, the app sends the clue text (and the earlier clues and guesses from that same game) to our server so the AI Guesser can reply and the referee can check the rules. This is processed transiently to answer that one turn — it is not stored server-side and is never linked to your identity. Don't put personal information in your clues; they're for a word game.
- An anonymous install identifier. A random ID generated on your device accompanies game requests (to rate-limit the free tier) and first-party usage events (e.g. “paywall viewed”). It contains no personal information, is not linked to you, and is never used to track you across apps or shared with data brokers.
- Purchases. Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.
Notifications
Reminders (the daily word, trial reminders) are local notifications scheduled on your device. No push-notification service receives your data.
Deleting your data
Delete the app and all of your data is gone — there is nothing server-side to delete because we never stored any.
Children
Loophole is a family-friendly word game, but it is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Changes
If our practices change, we will update this page and the “effective” date above before the change applies.
